Kenneth Coleman

Kenneth Steen Coleman, 75, of Dyersburg, died Friday, March 1, 2024. Born September 11, 1948, he was the son of the late Loyd and Margaret Steen Coleman. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.

Kenneth was a member and Elder of Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He was retired from First Citizens National Bank where he served as Senior Vice President, focusing on financial services in the Trust Department and as a broker at Financial Plus. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Kiwanis International.  He was an avid fan of Mississippi State football and the St. Louis Cardinals.   Ken’s favorite pastimes were playing golf, listening to music, and spending precious time with his family. 

Celebration of Life service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church officiated by Reverend Cory Williams and Reverend Warren Jones.  Interment will be in Henry Cemetery in Corinth, MS.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Ford, Ricky Petty, Scott Knight, Danny Dedmon, Mark Jamison, David Lewis, Danny Fowlkes, Scott Motley, Sammy Arnold and John Hamilton.

The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until service time at the church. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alison Jones Coleman; two daughters, Shelley Kate Coleman, Leigh Alison Coleman, both of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Sydnee Alison Coleman and Kendrick Mikhail Coleman. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Coleman.

The family requests memorials be directed to Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2280 Parr Avenue, Dyersburg, TN   38024.
