Linda Dianne Hicks

Linda Hicks, 71, of Finley, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her residence.  Born October 8, 1949, she is the daughter of the late Earl and Katherine Hillard Preslar.  She was a former employee of Dyersburg Fabrics.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 officiated by Reverend Trevor Sewell at Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 16^th at 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home.  

Donald Joe Robbins, Evan Blake Robbins, Michael Taylor Cochran, Coty Layne Gammons, Jeramy David Eberst, Drew Kinley Hicks and Randy Thomas Hall will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Hicks, Sr.; one daughter, Tabatha Layne Gammons of Newbern; two sons Marty Joe Robbins, Jimmy Wayne Hicks, Jr. (Tammy), both of Dyersburg, ten grandchildren, Michael Taylor Cochran, Coty Gammons (Mackenzie), Destiny Eberst (Jeramy), D.J. Robbins (Allison), Evan Robbins (Chelsey), Jenna Hall (Randy), Drew Hicks, Reece Jacobs (Tyler), Celina Hicks, Jill Hicks; three great-grandchildren, Owen, Nash, and Joshua and one sister Eloise Berkley of Dyersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Gatlin, Doris Preslar and one brother, Earl Preslar, Jr.
