Lois Dale Styers Rigsby

Lois Dale Styers Rigsby, 79, of Jackson, formerly of Dyersburg died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis. Born May 8, 1939, she was the daughter of the late J.C. “Foot” Styers and Virginia Berkley Styers. She was Payroll Supervisor at Pictsweet for over 40 years and a lifelong member of Lenox Baptist Church. Ms. Dale was an avid quilter. Her family will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed family traditions and kept everyone in line. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Don Williams and Reverend Bill Phipps with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 15th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her son, Ricky Phillips (Rhee) of Jackson; two grandchildren, Emma Phillips, Rachel Phillips, both of Jackson; one sister, Paulette Wells (John); niece, Leslie Wansing (Kevin), both of Kansas City, MO, nephew, John Stephen Wells of Dallas, TX; great-niece, Olivia Wansing; great-nephew, Troy Wansing, both of Kansas City, MO; and special grand-dog, Lilly. David Haddock, Bob Veal, Randy Prince, Dean Teeter, Joe Wood and Ryan Wood will serve as pallbearers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Rigsby and her brother, Joe C.
