Lyle E. Adams

June 23, 1935 — April 6, 2021

Lyle E. Adams, 85, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital. Born June 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Melvin and Mary Adams. Mr. Adams proudly service his country in the United States Navy where he retired in 1976.  He then worked at PolyOne, where he retired also.  He attended Dyersburg Church of God and was also an active community volunteer.  

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.

He is survived by his wife, S. Regina Luckett Adams; two step-daughters, Melanie Morgan of Memphis, Angela Morgan of Dyersburg; one step-son, James W. Morgan of Munford; one sister, Janice Hartland of Linden; one brother, Larry (Butch) Adams of Ankeny, IW; and six step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Garold Adams,  Mervin (Skip) Adams and his first wife, Margaret Adams.

The family requests memorials be directed to Matthew 25:40.
