Martha L. Crunk

Martha L. Crunk, 90, of Buchanan, MI, formerly of Dyersburg, passed away late on Friday, June 12, 2020 at home with her family by her side.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI. A graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery, Dyersburg, TN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Area Agency on Aging or Redbud Area Ministries.
Martha was born on November 26, 1929, to Cecil and Beulah Simpson in Finley, Tennessee. She married at a young age and subsequently relocated to Buchanan, Michigan where she spent the rest of her years. She worked locally as a Pawating Hospital dietitian, a switchboard phone operator, and was a Lineman's Assistant in Puerto Rico. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, crocheting, selling at local flea markets, and occasional bingo. Her favorite activity of all was spending time with family and friends.
Martha is survived by 4 grandchildren, Stacey (Boeve) Cook, Todd Boeve, Troy Vaughn, and Beverly (Seratt) Burton); eight great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen J Crunk, her daughter; Patsy Wizner; her son, James Seratt; a grandson, James Seratt, and all of her siblings.
