Mary Lynn Freeman

Mary Lynn Freeman, 92, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her residence. Born March 3, 1928, she is the daughter of the late Alphonso and Marjorie Anderson Powell. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Mary Lynn was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Dyersburg City Beautiful committee and the Garden Club.

Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Freeman will be Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Dr. Cory D. Williams. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 15^th beginning at 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her two daughters, Georgeann Hendrick, PHD of Meridian, Idaho, Laura Motley, PHD of St. Louis, MO; one son, Gordon F. Freeman, DDS of Riverside, CA; twelve grandchildren, Heather Pua, Brian Hartig, Jana Giraldin, Matthew Freeman, Kelly Carlos, Gordon F. Freeman, Jr., Luke Freeman, Lisa Drace, Scott Freeman, Jeff Freeman, Michelle Vasireddy, Christine Eakin; and twenty five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon R. Freeman, M.D. (09/20/2008).
