Maxine Tucker Welch

Maxine Tucker Welch, 93, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Harborview Dyersburg.  She was the daughter of the late Luther Wesley and Dora Allie Garrison Tucker. She was a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ.  Mrs. Welch was a former employee at Heco and Sylvania and later in life was a caregiver for the elderly.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Mr. Andy Brewer with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, January 18^th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Welch Stephens of Dyersburg, Judy Welch Sentell (David) of Brownsville, Carol Welch Richards (Rick) of Clinton, MS; one son, Lowell Welch (Teresa) of Dyersburg; ten grandchildren, Bonnie Reed, Brandy Rose, Miranda Paige, Claire Coker, Laura Tucker, Kate McKinney, Dave Sentell, Malinda Harding, Ben Richards, Christy Lynch; five step-grandchildren, Donna Sanders, Mike Stephens, Tiffany Pride, Tasha Applewhite, Rob Sharp; thirty great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bennie A. Welch; her son, Jack Maxie Welch; three sisters, June Lessenberry, Ollie Ruth Linscott, Lois Carson; four brothers, Doyle Tucker, Lewis Tucker, Clyde Tucker and Howell Harris, II.
