Norris “Pop” Campbell, 71, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born January 14, 1951, he was the son of the Lonnie and Nell Campbell. He was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics. Norris proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1970 – 1973. He was an avid hunter and Tennessee Vols fan.
The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date per Norris’ wishes.
He is survived by his of wife 41 years, Patsy Campbell; five children Eric Campbell (Dee) of Hornlake MS, Heather Sorrell (Allan) of Friendship; Susan Thompson of Finley, Jeff Lee (DeeDee) of South Fulton, TN, Curtis Campbell (Erin) of Cayce, KY; ten grandchildren, Caitlyn Butterworth (Stephen), Paxton Campbell, Kaylee Brower (Logan), Taylor Davis, Logan Campbell, Lexi Lee, Ryder Simmons, Charley Campbell, Blake Lee, Wess Thompson; six great-grandchildren, Dawson Harris, Sophie Harris, Drake Williams, Luke Butterworth, Braylee Butterworth, Bryce Brower; two sisters, Barbara Tubbs (Phil) of Jackson, Linda Flowers of Dyersburg; one brother, Gary Campbell (Kathey) of Bartlett; many nieces and nephews and very dear friends, Doug Walk and Lance Davison.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Campbell; his sister, Carolyn Campbell; and his grandson, Daulton Holly.
