Ollie Lucille Hamm Long, 87, of Dyersburg, formerly of Miston, died Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Milan.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Archie Larry with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Monday, beginning at 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Jacob Huddlestun, Jonmarc Rasberry, Josh Bledsoe, Lafe Long, Michael King and Cameron Miller will serve as pallbearers. Eric Huddlestun, Martin Rasberry and Brian Poe will serve as honorary pallbearers.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Long of Dyersburg, Laura Rasberry (Martin) of Jackson, Angela Poe (Brian) of Milan; one sister, Mary Lynn Hale of Curve; one brother, Larry Hamm of Decatur County; eight grandchildren, Kassey Bledsoe (Josh), Michael King (Chelsea), Lafe Long (Suzanne), Emma Long, Michelle Long and finance Quinton Haycraft, Jacob Huddlestun, Somer Huddlestun and finance Cameron Miller and Jonmarc Rasberry (Kelby); and ten great-grandchildren, Bryson Brady, Owen Goodman, Easton Miller, Maggie Rasberry, Grant Reed Bledsoe, Abigail Todd, Mack Bledsoe, Theo King, Zoey Haycraft and Zane Long.
In addition to her parents, Ben and Vera Mayo Long, she was preceded in death her husband, Huey P. Long; her son, Bennie Long; and two brothers, Sam Hamm and Grady Earl Hamm.
