Paul T. Moss, Sr.

Paul T. Moss, Sr., 87, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Oscar William and Angie Hicks Moss. Mr. Moss was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics. He was a member of Dyersburg Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mr. Moss proudly served his country in the United States Army stationed in Baumholder, Germany. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, January 19th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jo Moss; two daughters, Karen Moss Knight (Scott) and Tracy D. Moss, both of Dyersburg; one son, Paul T. Moss, Jr. of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Julie Lauren Hatch Pounders, Brooke Nicole Hatch Toarmina, Haley Ashton Moss, Hillary Elizabeth Jackson; and four great-grandchildren, Zoe Jade Pounders, Lucas Tye Pounders, Seth Christian Pounders and Alauna Katherine Pounders. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
