Robert Junior Epperson

Robert Junior Epperson, of Lenox, TN, died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his residence. Born September 10, 1937 at RoEllen, TN, he was the son of the late Bethel and Charlie Epperson. He was a retired employee of Oldberg Manufacturing Company and Dyersburg Fabrics . Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Lenox Church of God of Prophecy officiated by Brother David Prince. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 5:00 until 8:00 at Curry Funeral Home. He is survived by Lila Epperson, his wife of 60 years; two sons, Jeff Epperson and wife Teresa of Dyersburg and Tony Epperson and wife Kelly of Lenox; and one sister, Minnie Frances Sawyer. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Lee Epperson and wife Amanda, Jamie Dennis and wife Kayla, Tiffaney French, and Tracey French; and, five great-grandchildren: Robbie Epperson, Hannah French, Linley Dennis, Landon Dent and Jayden Lemonds; and a host of nephews and nieces. Artie French, Chris White, James Alexander, Keith Anderson, David Haddock and Brad Studard will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Estel White and Jim Grantham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John Epperson and James Epperson; and two sisters: Pauline Sawyer and Ila Mae Weaver.
