Steve Pickard

Steve Pickard, 74, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his residence. Born April 29, 1946 in Brownsville TN, he was the son of the late Annie Mae Lee and Oakley Brown Pickard.  He was a member of Finley Baptist Church, former President of Dyersburg Saddle Club, Lunch Buddy mentor at Holice Powell School and avid Lionel Train collector.  Steve was a dedicated husband, father and papaw.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Charlie Halliburton and Brother Trevor Sewell  with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Guy Hansford, Lloyd Hill, Clark Reagan, Johnny Hooper, Wayne Herron, Brian Dew and Leon Pickard will serve as pallbearers. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Croskery Pickard; daughter Monica Pickard Robbins (Jeff) of Dyersburg; granddaughter, Emma Grace Robbins; and niece Michelle Holley Matson (Jon).  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Shirley Pickard Holley and brother Billy Lee Pickard.
