Sue Jamison, 96, of Marion, AR, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at her daughters’ home. Born May 25, 1928, in the Richwoods Community of Dyer County, she is the daughter of the late Ike and Lottie Lewis Reasons. Sue was retired from Sylvania. Sue managed the Darling Shop in Dyersburg for many years. After her husband’s death in 1983, she was greeting customers with her beautiful smile and friendliness at Walgreens and DeLoach’s Shoe Store. She was a member of East Dyersburg Methodist Church.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Reverend Ronnie Turner.
The family will receive visitors Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Jamison of Marion, AR and her beloved grandson, Jamison Lynn McGuire (Crystal) of Marion, AR; three great-grandchildren, Colbe, Harley and Ty and a host on nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Jamison; her son, Jimmy Lynn Jamison; one sister, Frances Laverne Pease; and five brothers, Dalton Reasons, Thomas Reasons, Charles Reasons, Vance Reasons and Billy Joe Reasons.
