Thomas "Bubba" Mitchell Jernigan

Thomas Mitchell “Bubba” Jernigan, 79, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Harborview Dyersburg.  Born May 18, 1942, he was the son of the late William Hiram Sr. and Carrie Lee Hill Jernigan.  He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, February 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Mac Daniels. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Henning.

Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Jernigan, Jerry Jernigan, Anthony J. Dean, Hayden Dean, Johnny Beck, Tyler Dean, Trevor Anderson and Billy Yants.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, February 27^th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Tennie Gipson, Geraldine Rose, Estelle Binkley, Josie Dean, Carrie Wilson, Mary Scott; and eight brothers, Odell Jernigan, Lankford Jernigan, John William Jernigan, Junior Jernigan, Miller Jernigan and Billy Jernigan, Mitchell Jernigan and Eddie Jernigan.
