Wayne Alan Karlgaard

Wayne Karlgaard, 90, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg. Born April 13, 1930, he is the son of the late Annie Carlson and Sigurd Karlgaard. He was retired from Oldberg Manufacturing Company and was a member of Dyersburg First United Methodist Church. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Private graveside services will be at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Rev. Dr. Mary Beth Bernheisel. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Karlgaard; two daughters, Susan Sartain, Shari Garrett, both of Lakeland, FL; step-son Allen Voss (Jessica) of Oakland, TN, one step-daughter, Lisa Short (David) of Ankeny, IA; step-son, Bito Mann (Angela) of Franklin, TN and eight grandchildren. Tony Bacigalupo, Jimmy Crisp, Brad Fuller, Allen Voss, David Short and Bito Mann will serve as pallbearers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Parmenter Karlgaard and step-son, Robbie Mann.
