William R. "Bill" Dickey

William R. “Bill” Dickey, 82, of Tiptonville, died Monday, June 28, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  Born August 17, 1938, he was the son of the late Reuben and Estelle Hamilton Dickey.  He was a retired executive with General Motors and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Troy.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Newsom (David) of Memphis; his nephew, Jon Dickey (Lisa) of Ridgely, John Allen (Katie); two nieces, Amy Epperson (Rodney), Elaine Burns (David); three great nieces, Christina Davin Freeman, Anna Davin Flowers (Tolar), Teresa Boyd (Dr. Dan), one great-great niece, Addison Claire Freeman; and one great-great nephew, Gage Powell Freemen.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Allen and one brother, Joe. G. Dickey.
