William "Willie" Nelson

William “Willie” Nelson, 67, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare - Dyersburg. Born November 28, 1951, he was the son of the late Reba Richards and Wallace Wilson. He was a supervisor in the field of construction most of his life. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeannie Nelson; three daughters, Victoria Klutts of Newbern, Natasha Nelson of Jackson, Tabitha Nelson of Dyersburg; one son, William Joshua Nelson of Austin, TX; and two sisters, June Vandouser of Munford, Emma Cantu of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren, Ashley Klutts, Travis Klutts, Nikki Nelson, Breanna Vaughn, Demitrice McCrite, Anita Nelson, Audrey Nelson and Aurora Nelson; four great-grandchildren, Blake Roberts, Jaiceon Franklin, Jayden McCrite and Sebastian McMullen, and his surrogate brother, Rusty Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Nelson Shipley. Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home.
