Doris Foster Reed

Doris Foster Reed, 95, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, July 16, 2022 at The Bay of Dyersburg.  Born January 31, 1927 in Dyersburg, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lorrine Lepping Foster.  She was a homemaker and a devout Christian and active member of McCullough’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Clint Reed.

Bruce Dykes, Brandon Bartell, Nathan Reed, Judd Reed, Clint Reed and Bobby Reed will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation for Mrs. Reed will be Tuesday, July 19^th from 12 Noon until 12:45 pm at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Dykes (Bobby) of Dyersburg; two sons Billy Reed (Jennifer), Steve Reed (Marla), both of Dyersburg; six grandchildren, Judd Reed (Denise), Clint Reed (Jennifer), Ross Reed, Becky Bartell (Brandon), Bruce Dykes, Kate Tinkle (Austin); Momma Doris to Ann Cook (Lewis), Deidra Rainey (Ronnie), David Reed (Vicky); seven great-grandchildren, Dixie Reed, Delta Reed, Macy Reed, Nathan Reed, Aspen Reed, Shea Welch, Shelby Welch; and one great-great-granddaughter Blake Black; three sisters, Rebecca German, Lessie Green, Linda Cervenka; one brother Roger Foster; and one daughter-in-law, Betty Reed McIntosh

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Moody Reed; her son, Jerry Reed; her step-son Roy Reed; and one brother, Max Foster.
